When I heard that particular peasant princess sermon a whole lot of warning bells went off when he told those stories about how he "cares for" his wife. This sounds like controlling and emotional abuse to me.
Right on, Anonymous. I'm glad the "warning bells went off" within you as you heard this. I hope those warnings have led to your making healthy decisions for yourself as to where and where not to attend church.
